Rotax experience days
Enjoy a adrenaline filled day in a rotax max kart with no worry of maintaining and storing like a owner driver would.
Rotax – what’s that?
Rotax is an engine and we have different sizes and power best suited for different ages to give the maximum safest thrill ride. All experience days include a track walk, racing line advice, and more top tips for getting the edge.
- Senior Rotax Max .. suitable for 16 years old +
- Junior Rotax .. 13-17 years old
- Mini Max .. 11-15 years old
How much track time will I actually get?
We want you in the kart and driving for as long as is possible so have a taz round, get back to the pits for a debrief/more tips, refuel and back out again.
Half day vs full day experience – what’s the difference?
Simple… more track time, more tips, more fun!
For our half day experiences we have the track typically 10-1 so arrive around 9am, get familiar with the venue and your guide, go for a track walk about 9.30 and out as early as possible after 10. For the full day track time is extended until 4pm and includes lunch
A half day experience costs £300 and full day £500
Where and when can I have a go?
We use a few of tracks including
- Rye House, Hoddesdon (Hertfordshire, EN11 0EH)
- Whilton Mill, Daventry (Northamptonshire, NN11 2NH)
- PFI Kart Track, Brandon (North Lincs, Nr Newark NG32 2AY)
Track fees are not included our hire charges. They are approximately £50 per session.
Our track experience days take place Monday to Friday subject to availability. The tracks are quieter during the week and we think you will enjoy it a lot more, plus at weekends most tracks are used for organised racing. Call us and we’ll try to book where you want and when you want.
Will I be part of a group?
No! you will get 1 to 1 attention from us during your time with us. There will probably be others using the tracks at the same time though.
What do I need?
We are hiring you one of our karts. If you damage them then you must pay for repair work. This includes damage that wasn’t caused by yourself on track, eg someone else hits you. Please see our terms and conditions below.
We do not provide helmet, overalls, gloves, footwear – so please bring your own! Motor cycle helmets are ok. If you have any questions please ask us.
You will need to sign our hire booking form which includes acceptance of terms and conditions of use.
